LEMONS
Our Grove
Our grove currently consists of 15 existing fruit producing Lemon trees, which are harvested 4 times a year and then either sold fresh to produce shops or processed into dehydrated lemons.
We are working hard to develop and grow our lemon patch, once fully grown we expect a yield of between 1300kg - 2200kg a year.
Our future plans are to produce a Lemon infused Olive Oil and Lemon Scented Candle.
Lunario Lemons
The Lunario Lemon (Citrus Lemon) is named after a ancient Sicilian cultivar and belongs to the Rutaceae family.
It is a medium-sized shrub with dark green lanceolate leaves. It produces abundant white and violet flowers, which subsequently lead to the ripening of the fruit which has an elongated spherical shape, the peel has an intense yellow colour, the pulp is very juicy and white with very few seeds.
The peculiarity of this lemon plant is that it has a continuous production of fruit all year round, giving it the alternative name, 4 Season Lemon.
